Aqueous Digital

Aqueous Welcomes Marketing Manager Kristian

AQUEOUS Digital has appointed its first marketing manager and tasked him with devising a way to promote the company’s strengths.

Kristian Bentham joined the Cheshire-based digital marketing agency in June.

A highly-skilled operator with previous experience in several sectors, he has wasted no time identifying where his focus should be.

“I’ve started work already on putting together a robust marketing plan that will assist in taking the business to the next level,” he said.

“At the heart of that will be making sure that all of our customer-facing activity truly reflects the dynamic and amazing agency that Aqueous Digital is.”

Jonathan Guy, the company’s founder and managing director, identified a need to find somebody for the role two years ago.

However he is satisfied patience has paid off.

“We’ve been looking for the right person for a while but, frankly, it’s worth waiting,” he said.

“We have demonstrated consistent growth over the past five years and now is the time to lay a foundation that allows us to be more ambitious and build on that.”

Based a short drive from the firm’s base in Sutton Weaver, Kristian – a professional with expert knowledge of brand management and advertising – spent the past three years working for The Manchester College.

Before that, his contribution was integral to the success of a series of national campaigns for Keep Britain Tidy – an independent environmental charity striving to eliminate litter, end waste and improve places.

An impressive CV also lists spells in the public sector at Salford City Council, and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister where he provided marketing advice to the British Government.

Jonathan added: “As a marketer myself, I understand and appreciate the hard work required to properly execute a considered plan.

“Kristian demonstrated not only that he can do that in his previous roles, but also that he already ‘gets’ what we do.”

Kristian, who last month was awarded a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership, is optimistic he can apply at Aqueous much of what he has learned in his career.

He has a positive impression of his new surroundings too.

“I’ve been blown away by the enthusiasm and passion of the people that work here,” he said.

“Their shared commitment to the company’s values of trust, loyalty and collaboration is at the heart of everything.

“I’ve been impressed as well with the amount of emphasis placed on developing the team’s members through training.

“That will set Aqueous apart from the vast majority of rival digital marketing agencies out there.”
